Le Hohwald is a small mountain resort situated between 600 and 1,100 metres above sea level, nestling in the heart of a pine forest. Do you love nature, walking and meeting people? Then come and discover Hohwald! The village has over 120 kilometres of signposted footpaths, so there's something for everyone, from fitness trails to day-long hikes for the more sporty. In summer, the air is pleasant and the River Andlau keeps things cool. In autumn, the landscape turns orange and red, a delight for photo enthusiasts. In winter, young and old alike can't wait for the first snowflakes to fall, impatient to see the white blanket settle in and to be able to enjoy the pleasures of tobogganing.
Not to be missed: For nature lovers: the waterfall, impressive and refreshing. For cheese lovers: the Lindenhof farm, a guaranteed tasty discovery.
